About the artwork

The City where God, who became man shed His blood for the sake of all humanity. This city has seen many important events but among them, the most important event in human history; The death and resurrection of Jesus. The price that was paid upon the cross for our sake is high, a debt that we could have never paid. The blood of Jesus, which covers all sins was shed here in this city. The ground marked forever by what He did for us. Any image of Jerusalem should remind us of the sacrifice of Jesus which alters the purpose of our lives. We are reminded by this place that our lives are part of a bigger picture than our own plans. What Jesus did for us upon the cross, calls us to remember that He died for us, so that we can live for Him a life of love and worship. We now have access to be part of a Family, as sons and daughters of God.
